It is a rather quiet week for disarmament in Geneva.

The Conference on Disarmament will hold a plenary meeting on Tuesday morning – see here for the detailed schedule of meetings.

On Tuesday, the Strategic Concept for the Removal of Arms and Proliferation (SCRAP) is organizing an event, hosted by the UK Permanent Mission, to explore ways to move forward on the UN Secretary-General Disarmament Agenda.

In Vienna, the fifty-sixth session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space will run from 11 to 22 February.

Finally, this year’s Munich Security Conference will take place from 15 to 17 February. Participants will discuss current and future challenges in the area of international security policy, notably with regards to the future of arms control and cooperation in defence policy.
